A little something about us

Mentoring programs play a crucial role in guiding youth ages 8-18, especially those uncertain about their paths post-high school. These programs offer invaluable support, providing a safe space for exploration and personal growth. Mentors serve as beacons of experience, helping young individuals discover their passions, talents, and potential career paths. By offering guidance, encouragement, and real-world insights, mentors instill confidence and clarity in youth, empowering them to make informed decisions about their future. Through mentorship, young minds gain valuable skills, expand their horizons, and cultivate the resilience needed to navigate the transition into adulthood with purpose and determination.

Founder

Jeffrey Renfroe

A native of Buffalo, NY. Jeffrey Renfroe is a big believer in giving back. Mentoring helps build a greater sense of belonging, can enhance self-esteem, reduce stress and enable better decision making.

Mentoring is a great way to pair subject matter experts with those wanting to build those desired skills. By pairing members, volunteers, students or employees together in mentorship programs, organizations can effectively facilitate knowledge transfer and experiential learning in order to develop participants. mentoring provides extra support that can help participants find their footing and build on their knowledge, while preparing themselves to be future-ready for what comes next.

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.

Our Board

Divorced mother of two my birth place being the original city and town and birth place of Hip Hop I guess you could say my journey started there in the Bx, NY on the evening of 9/28/73 at 8:40 pm. Ironically the time of my birth is the combination of the month my dad was born and the year my mother was born. Needless to say I have had the great teachings and moral code equally of both of these amazing people. My mother first generation American with descendants of the Caribbean. St Michaels, Barbados and my dad the descendants of first generation Dominican mother and Native American and African American father. I have always been taught to never judge a book by it’s cover and instilled those same values in my own off springs. Never allowing myself to be just classified as a black woman, I have known there was greatness in me and I continue no matter how old I get to strive to be better than I was the day before until I take my last breath. Having a double Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology and Human Resource it was and is my destiny to be of service to others. When asked to be part of such an amazing program I couldn’t say no. Just always wanting to do all I can to help guide those who will proceed me to be better than not only myself but those who they deem to be great. Inspiring and helping young people to seek there greatness no matter there current situation is what I feel is my purpose in life. Currently since 2018 living in the Atlanta region of GA I have seen that no matter what your circumstance is it can be easy to give up in life and if my words, actions or life experiences can serve as a purpose to help a young minds better him or herself and I know that I had a small part in it then it was well worth it. I am so looking forward to this next chapter in life of inspiring and guiding our next leaders and great contributors to society.

My journey began in the land of Miami, FL. I was born to Haitian immigrant parents who wanted a better life for their children. I saw the struggle that they endured so,they instill hard work and education in their children. With that foundation my passion to help young people comes from my own journey of hardship and struggles. My journey is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance and a boundless heart. I am an engaging and energizing person who has dedicated her life to making the world a better place for young people. With the love and determination I have to watch young people excel now and in the future.
